Product Questions

  1. How can I add to my version 2 network system?

Posted by Unknown on 8th Oct 2009

I have 5 version 2 thermostats on a network system with a central touch controller. I need to add another underfloor 12v thermostat to to this system. Do you still supply version two or do I need to upgrade all my thermostats

No problem, we can still supply v2. Please call us and we will provide details.

  2. volt free output

Posted by Mitch on 23rd Jul 2009

Q: What do you mean by "volt free 3A output" on you 12v thermostats.

A: A volt free output basically means the relay inside the thermostat has no electrical connection.

This is so that you can use the contacts for what ever application you require.

You apply whatever voltage you require to the common terminal, and the switched terminal will output this voltage, so you can use the same stat for either 12V or 230V. 3A is the maximum current rating.

However we would suggest not mixing two voltages on the thermostat and use our UH1 or Powered relay card to handle 230v switching.
