Q - Can this stat be used to activate a pump to circulate water from a back boiler stove?

A - Yes, you can use this thermostat to activate a pump to circulate water, as this is a low voltage thermostat you would need a 12v power supply, if you want to switch 230v to enable the pump you would need to use a relay.
Our powered relay card could do the job for you.
