Loading... Please wait...The Heatmiser UH1-W is our wireless central wiring switch box designed to be used with our slimline wireless thermostats. The UH1 offers the following functionality;
The Heatmiser UH1-W is designed to be used in conjunction with our slimline wireless thermostats. The UH1-W provides central switching and is therefore ideally situated next to the underfloor heating manifold. 8 Zones can be controlled as well as providing an output for a hot water cylinder. On demand from any zone, a 230v output is provided to switch the relevant zone actuators, underfloor heating pump and valve. A volt free connection is supplied for the boiler, making it compatible with almost all types of boilers. Up to 6 actuators can be connected to each zone. An external aerial is available for use when the UH1-W is being mounted in a metal cupboard or when the wireless signal is restricted.
A software option in the thermostat allows you to configure which zones are underfloor heating and which zones are radiators. Radiator zones will not enable the underfloor heating pump, valve and boiler when there is a call for heat. Radiator zones should enable the boiler from the end switch of the valve.
Please note: This is not compatible with the Touchscreen Wireless Thermostats

Q: Is there a connection diagram available for this? Can you mix wireless and non wirless stats?
A: The diagram is available here
http://www.heatmiser.co.uk/downloads/uh1w.pdf
For a mix of wireless and non wireless, we would suggest you use the UH1 and then wire the output from the receiver into the relevant zone.

Q: What distance will they transmit?
A: Up to 100m open space. Due to the nature of RF, metal objects and walls will effect the communication distance. In these cases, we would suggest our wireless repeater. This will more than double the distance, and multiple repeaters can be used.
