The Heatmiser PRT is a programmable room stat and programmer in one, providing up to 4 different temperatures at different times of the day.
Energy Saving What's more, the PRT includes Optimum Start which is an energy saving feature designed to reduce the amount of heat up time required by automatically learning the heat up time your home needs.
Standard Features;
Dimensions: 98mm x 85mm x 13mm (Height, Width, Depth)
(Please note this thermostat is flush mounting and so requires a back box)
Upgrading your Existing Thermostat and selecting the Terminal Output
1. Firstly, check that you have at least three wires (excluding the earth) behind your existing stat. If you have, the PRT is compatible.
2. Our changeover terminal option is for those controlling a valve that needs power to open and power to close. If you are simply controlling a boiler, just select the standard model.

Q - I have a number of Electric Wall heaters that are all lacking a Thermostat. Can I use this to turn on / off the supply and thus regulate the room temp. The issue is the 3A max. output as this will limit the maximum Wattage of heater (to What exactly - Ohms law??).
A - The PRT will be able to control your heaters but as you've said you are limited to 3Amps max, if you require a thermostat that can handle a bigger load you would need to use the PRT-E.

Q - My current thermostat cable has 4 cores. I want to use Live, Neutral, Control Live in, Control Live out for my PRT connections, which would use the 4 wires. Do I need a 5th wire for Earth? Can I use my existing 4 core or do I need a 5 core?
A - We would recommend using an earth wire if this is possible.

Q: Do these work with a Ferroli F30B combi boiler please?
A: Our thermosats do not intelligently communicate with the boiler but give a switch line back therefore compatiblity shouldn't be an issue.

Q: Is this controller compatible with a Potterton boiler? The boiler is currently running off an inbuilt mechanical clock but i would like to add a controller for ease of use.
A: The Heatmiser PRT will work fine, but you need to check the wiring requirements. Our PRT requires at least 3 wires, excluding earth.
